Parker's Electrical

Parker's Electrical is an electrician based in Southampton, Hampshire. It is a NICEIC Approved Contractor and is fully insured, holding £5m Public Liability and £250k Professional Indemnity insurance. The company is qualified to 18th Edition, 2391-52 Inspection & Testing, and is JIB Gold Card registered. It provides NICEIC certification with every job and offers domestic and commercial electrical solutions across Southampton and Hampshire. Services include rewires, fuse boards, EV chargers, EICRs and emergency callout, with free estimates and clear estimates with no hourly-rate surprises.

Full and partial rewires replace old wiring safely room by room with minimal mess and full certification. Modern consumer units with RCBO and surge protection are installed, tested and signed off to BS 7671. Home and workplace EV charge points are installed and commissioned. Downlights, LED strip, pendants and full lighting design are fitted, along with extra sockets, USB points and new power circuits. EICR inspection reports are provided for homeowners, landlords and letting agents with clear remedials.

Commercial electrical work covers shops, offices, dental surgeries and units, including fit-outs, LED lighting, emergency lighting and testing. Faults such as tripping circuits, dead sockets and burning smells are traced and fixed. External power & lighting, electric showers, electric heating, extractor fans, smoke & heat alarms, doorbells & smart security, and data & networking are also offered. James is named as the electrician in customer reviews of Parker's Electrical.

Domestic projects and repairs across Southampton have given James a steady stream of return work, and the feedback gathered here reflects a consistently professional standard. A recurring point is his reliability: customers describe him arriving when he said he would, even on a hot day, and responding promptly to enquiries about fault-finding and remedial jobs. His diagnostic skill comes up repeatedly, from tracing a fault that had cut power to heating and sockets, replacing a faulty fuse switch, to curing a problem with a fan another electrician had fitted.

Charger installation is a common theme, with an Indra unit commissioned and explained in full, and balcony lighting and an EICR also feature among the jobs described. Reviewers praise his methodical checking, his clear explanations in advance and his detailed estimates, which he sticks to. Tidiness is mentioned often, with work areas left spotless afterwards, and several describe the pricing as reasonable for the speed and quality delivered. James himself is named throughout as patient, polite and friendly, and the same names come up when customers say they would call on him again.
