No forms, but server logs still apply There is nothing on this site that requires you to type in personal information — no account creation, no newsletter sign-up. Even so, like virtually every website, ours automatically receives and logs standard technical data from your browser: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.

Advertising cookies Cookies may be used to analyse how visitors use the site and to help display advertising. Advertising partners, Google potentially among them, may use cookies to serve adverts based on a visitor's browsing interests. Anyone who prefers not to receive this kind of advertising can opt out at myadcenter.google.com.

How electricians get listed Electricians and electrical contractors appear on this site with information, ratings and reviews sourced from publicly available Google Maps listings, not submitted directly by the tradespeople themselves. If you run an electrical business and want your listing corrected or removed, email us and we'll take care of it.

Your legal rights The UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you the right to find out what data we hold about you, have it corrected, ask for it to be erased, and object to processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think your data hasn't been handled properly.

Links away from our site We link to the websites of individually listed electricians and to Google Maps. Once you click through, you're covered by their privacy policies, not ours, and we take no responsibility for them.
