First class EICR service for landlords such as myself. Punctual, thorough, clean at a very affordable price. Certificate was provided in an extremely timely fashion and useful recommendations for improvement made. Highly recommended.
If I could leave zero star I would. Used this firm recently to do a Landlord 5 yearly check on a 1980's house in Plymstock. The installation was failed by this firm with an invoice for nearly £800 of remedial work before a satifactory certificate could be issued. Suspecting I was being ripped off after smart meters were fitted since the last check and western power had reason to visit when power in the street went off and neither saw anything wrong, I employed an identically qualified electrician to do a further check days later and it passed without question. The electricians trade body NICEC are not regulators so can't do nothing and trading standards won't as I'm considered a 'business' as I rent a house out-so off to the small claims court with these jokers for my £150 I paid to get an honest check after this attempted rip off.I do wonder how many other people were forced into doing unnecessary work by these people???
Excellent service from the ETC inspection to the installation of a new circuit board the guys were very informative, professional. Very reasonable pricing would definitely recommend if you want efficient friendly service 😊😊
I have used Goodwin Electrical before to service my EV charger. Unfortunately my charger stopped working, I called Bill and he popped around to take a look within a day. He advised the charger was broken and would need to be replaced. He was quick to quote for the replacement and came within a few days to fit the new charger. Bill recommended the Zappi Glo and I happily accepted his recommendation. So far the charger has been easy to setup and use. It has lots of great features sure a a charging lock and integration with my energy supplier. It's much better than my old Pod Point charger. I highly recommend Goodwin Electrical, they are friendly, competitive and offer a great service.
