Glow Electric Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland, was established in 2005. Matthew Lynes is the founder and Managing Director. The company is a NICEIC Approved Contractor, an OZEV-approved installer, and RECC registered. Electrical work is tested and certificated to BS 7671. It installs solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers, and offers a 25-year panel performance warranty. The company handles G99 and three-phase work for farm solar. Based in Belfast, it installs across all of Northern Ireland.

Neat, tidy workmanship stands out across the feedback for this Belfast electrician, with customers often remarking on how clean the finished result looks and how carefully the surroundings are left afterwards. Several reviewers highlight the installation of electric vehicle chargers, naming brands such as Zappi and Hypervolt, alongside solar panels, ceiling lights, a bedside socket and a bathroom extractor fan.

Communication is a recurring theme, with prompt replies by message or email before the visit and a reliable arrival on the agreed day. Matt, sometimes working with a second Matt, is repeatedly described as friendly, professional and knowledgeable, taking time to explain the work and offer advice. Reviewers describe quotes as competitive and fair for the type of job, and problems are handled without fuss, including cutting skirting board neatly so the repair is invisible.

The standard of cabling is mentioned often, as is the speed of getting a charger fitted shortly after the initial contact. Customers speak of a thorough approach and of being kept informed throughout, and the same names come up when people explain why they would call on the firm again for future electrical work. Solar panel installation and charger fitting are the jobs most frequently praised, with the neat finish on both receiving particular attention.
