I had an EV charger fitted at home today by Paul and his team and couldn't recommend them more. From the very first interaction he couldn't have been more helpful in answering my questions, he turned up both for the quote and fitting of the charger on time and when he said he would and they did a fantastic job at installation. My house was left completely clean at the end of it which was great. Paul set me up on the app, he sent over all the paperwork in a timely manner, and I felt very confident in his skills and ability throughout the whole interaction. I was working from home and Paul even provided back up power to ensure my WiFi wasn't disrupted during the installation, and I was genuinely surprised by how quickly and efficiently the job was completed! Thank you Paul for doing an outstanding job with the charger, would definitely recommend him to others who require an electrician!

Updated review further to consumer board installation: Limewire were punctual, courteous, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They carried out a pre-EPC electrical visual condition report for me and took the time to explain everything clearly. It's rare to find tradespeople this reliable and easy to deal with. I've subsequently had them back to carry out a full EICR and replace my consumer unit. The standard of work throughout was excellent. The new board is a FuseBox 15-way full RCBO unit with a Type 2 SPD and 100A isolator, installed to BS 7671 18th Edition standards with every circuit individually protected. The work was NAPIT certified, fully certified with an EIC, and the circuit schedule is clearly labelled and future-proofed for an EV charger, additional kitchen circuits, and more. What stood out was that Paul took the time to work through the spec with me properly — explaining the options, accommodating changes, and making sure the installation was right for the long term, not just the minimum required. Bonding, earthing, and remedial's from the EICR were all addressed as part of the same visit. I'd happily recommend Limewire to anyone who needs a trustworthy, NAPIT registered electrician who takes real pride in their work.

I contacted Limewire Electrical through a friend who recommended them to me. I contacted the Company for a quote and advice on updating a worn-out inline extractor fan for my bathroom. I WhatsApp them first and had a very fast response. So no waiting around which was good I asked for a price for a ceiling fan, but I hadn't explained myself clearly. It wasn't until we were ready to have this updated when I realised I'd confused them about what type of extractor fan we needed. What impressed me was there patience with messages but they never gave up and I eventually sent photos and explained in more detail the work required. I was given a quote the same day which was great and because they took time, knowing my requirements they did not have to waste anytime and spared a visit just to see the work. I agreed a quote which was very reasonable paid 50% deposit via bank transfer knew this was a genuine company as well so it wasn't a scam and given a date for 2 weeks later to do the work. What was nice was them explaining they were busy and they apologised for not being able to come out sooner. It made me think well they must be good and had jobs on the go and already had customers booked in. We agreed a time for 10am for Tuesday 21st April today! I received a WhatsApp message as a reminder and they attended at 10am kept to the agreed time. Worked efficiently with a young pleasant apprentice who did a good job cleaning up after the Electrician. I had purchased a fan grill which was the right size they did have a smaller one but I was lucky this fitted in the gap and I was pleased and they took time to seal around the edges for a smooth finish and it fitted perfectly. I just felt sorry as my loft had birds nests and a few skeletons of birds heads! One they showed me! It is a 1930's house and they mentioned about an old water tank that was wobbly something I should get looked at. They cleared up left it spotless with my extractor in line ceiling fan working again! I do need some further electrical work doing soon and want to have an outdoor front light fitted so I will be back for more work and I will certainly recommend this company to relatives, friends and neighours.
