I can’t recommend 786 Electricals Ltd enough. It is always such a relief to find a reliable team right here on your doorstep. Sometimes you worry you'll end up with an electrician from way outside the area, but it’s so much better having someone local in Leicester and Leicestershire. They are definitely our "go-to" local electricians now and it's great to know there's someone "near me" that I can actually trust for future work. We first used them for an emergency service call-out, which was a total lifesaver. It cost £75, and I was seriously impressed that the problem was fully diagnosed and resolved within the first hour. It’s rare to find someone who shows up exactly when they say they will and gets straight to the point. Since that first visit, we’ve had them back for several larger projects across the house. They recently handled our Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) for £180, which was incredibly thorough and gave us real peace of mind. We also went ahead with a consumer unit upgrade for £750; the quality of the installation was worth every penny—neat, modern, and fully up to code. Beyond the big stuff, they’ve also helped with general electrical inspection, testing, and various fault-finding tasks in the past. Every single time, the team has been professional, tidy, and easy to deal with. We are very much happy with the service and will definitely be recommending them to everyone in the Leicester area for any electrical works!

Adam and his team are great electricians will recommend them to friends and family. Had my fuse box replaced very neat tidy and super safety oriented discussed all the options will be my electrician of choice. All the works wear certified.

Contacted them yesterday after GoAssist let me down for an oven installation. They responded quickly, came out the same day, and got everything installed without any fuss. Really friendly, professional, and efficient service. Would definitely recommend.

Adam is an absolute Hero. I'm an Electrician myself, I was called out to a family members house at 10pm on a Saturday as they had lost all power. I diagnosed the fault as a faulty Main Switch of an obsolete brand. I managed to get power on but knew it wouldnt last and didn't want to leave them without power or it potentially getting worse or causing a fire. I rang around all the electricians I could find on Google with one company trying to mess me around and charge a ridiculous price than in a 5 minute conversation went from £100 to £150 then £170 and finally £220. I called Adam who replied to me within a few minutes and we brainstormed some ideas. We knew it ideally needed the Fuse Board changing although Adam couldn't do it he offered to supply me the kit to do it. Unfortunately I didnt have the tools as I only went with some hand tools and a tester. I asked if he had any Main Switches that might fit as a temporary measure just to get them through the weekend (understandably Adam wasn't keen on the idea as this shouldn't be done) but as I was taking the liability he offered that I could drive to his house and see if he had anything that might work. 10 minutes later I was there and he had dug out a few options from his van. One of them looked like it would work. He didnt try to overcharge me and just said pay me what you want. I only had £40 cash on me and he accepted no questions. If i had more I would have happily given him more. He went above and beyond to help me for little reward and from speaking to him I can tell he knows what he's talking about, has pride in what he does and does things right. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Adam was of really great help and service. He did beyond what a regular service provider would do. Kept the session really friendly, different from the usual quiet service time from other handymen. He really made me happy with the result of the fix as well.

Amazing service from start to finish! The electrician and his partner were incredibly friendly, we had a good laugh, and the job was done quickly, efficiently with no mess left behind. I even asked about another issue that wasn’t planned, and they not only fixed it at no extra cost but also gave me loads of helpful advice on electrical safety and other bits. Super fast, super convenient, and genuinely lovely people — this is 100% the electrician I’ll be calling for every job. Could not recommend enough.
