He kept me informed and the electrician turned up in time and fixed the problem quickly. You can't ask for better than that. More than happy to recommend them and I will use them again.

Paid for a full EICR and still haven't received a quote for remedials OR a ceritficate after more than a week. Will edit this review if situation is amended. Edit 28-05-26: As stated in the reply, I have received the full EICR and remedial works have been scheduled. I still cannot give the full 5 stars as I feel like the initial blockers could have and should have been addressed on the full EICR visit by the engineer rather than asking the client (me) to do the extra work for them.
Very helpful when quoting for and planning the work, transparent quote, the electrician who did the job was polite and friendly and cleaned up after the work, which involved pulling some wires and plaster out of the walls.
I needed to have the lighting redone for our tenement stair. The whole process was very easy. The quote came back quickly and was easy to understand. The work was done quickly and quietly without needing any input from me. Very happy with everything.

In our Edinburgh private tenement, Lumen undertook replacement of our aging flourescent stair lighting with new LED units (9 units over 3 floors) and timer, plus a small external front door light. I was very satisfied with them while seeking quotes, with the equipment they supplied, and while the work was undertaken. Pricing was competitive, they were quick and helpful in answering all questions, the work was completed in a morning, and the technicians tidied up well after themselves. There was initially a problem with the timing of the lights coming on and off but they responded quickly and rapidly sorted it out satisfactorily. I would be happy to use this firm again or recommend them to others.
