Evolution Electrical York Ltd

Fantastic service from start to finish. They upgraded our consumer unit, installed an EV charger, fitted new switches, sockets and light fittings throughout the house, and recently completed the wiring and installation of TV and fireplace sockets for our living room media wall. Communication was excellent, with clear pricing and timelines, they arrived on time, worked tidily, were polite throughout, and provided all the necessary certification on completion. We're already using them again for our upcoming kitchen renovation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them for any future electrical work.

Really great, professional and friendly service. They've done excellent work on two jobs I've used them for. One an emergency call out and they were able to be there within 45 mins and the second a larger job with electrics and networking. Highly recommended!

We’ve used Will and James at Evolution Electrical for a number of jobs now, including installing security lights on the garage, a new circuit for our security gate, and various internal light fittings. They’ve been excellent every time. They’re really professional, friendly, and take pride in their work. What really stands out is their communication—they always respond to messages, usually the same day, which (in my experience!) is pretty rare with trades. Reliable, easy to deal with, and high-quality work. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent service from James. I’ve used him for several projects, including replacing our fuse box, and he has been outstanding every time. He is reliable, keeps to his timings, and works in a very neat and tidy manner. The quality of his work is excellent and everything is always left spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend him and will certainly be using him again. A genuinely pleasant and cheerful person to have around as well.

Excellent job! Professional and friendly. We had a team of two make safe some old/dodgy wiring that came up on a survey. We also needed some additional sockets around our home. I thought there was going to be dust and debris all over the place, I was wrong. These guys have the right tool for a job, cleaning and tidying as they go. We thought we'd be without electricity all day but we were wrong on that too. Throughout the day the lads told us when electric was off and on. The electric was off for the minimum time which meant we could both still work out jobs. In summary, we're really pleased with the work done. Know their stuff, Great communications, No mess, Respectful and easy to get along with. They've made a really smart job. Very impressed with the level of detail they have put in. Thank you chaps

Very happy to recommend James and Will from Evolution; they did an electrical safety check on a house we were buying then came back after the purchase went through to address a bunch of issues, some relatively minor but others more important [eg new consumer unit]. Their work is high class, and they conduct themselves professionally, tidy up and clean at the end of their work, and have been easy to communicate with by email and SMS/phone. Many thanks to you both.

I can highly recommend Evolution electrical. The team were so efficient and professional. They installed 3 WiFi heaters and upgraded the electric towel rail to WiFi remote control, all of which will reduce our electric bills A full electrical safety check was also completed. The property was left perfectly clean once work was completed.
