I needed to have my smoke alarms replaced and also wanted to put in an EV charge point. AcuCert provided a quote quickly and I was very pleased with the work. I especially appreciated the time they took to answer all of the questions I had.

The Acucert team did a great job rewiring our cabin. Job took a bit longer than expected, but all done exceptionally well. Hugo was very friendly and helpful, as were the rest of the team. They came back very quickly to fix some minor niggles. Very pleased with the work done.

I would urge anyone considering Acucert in Cambridge to proceed with caution. My experience was extremely distressing, costly, and time-consuming. I paid a substantial sum for work which was very poorly carried out and not properly supported when serious issues became apparent. Several parts of the work did not function properly, and I was left dealing with unresolved problems. Some of the issues were eventually resolved only after outside support, rather than through meaningful aftercare from Accucert. Communication was very responsive and reassuring while the work was being agreed and carried out. However, once I started reporting serious problems, the response became dismissive, slow, and ineffective. I had to contact the office repeatedly, where I was reassured that the issues would be treated as a priority and that someone would get back to me. In practice, those reassurances were not followed through, and I felt misled. I relied on the many positive reviews when hiring this company, but my experience was completely different. Some aspects of my experience echoed the one serious negative review among the many positive ones, so I would suggest readers look carefully at both that review and the company’s response to it. This is a genuine customer experience, and I have records of the work, payment, communications, and photos relating to the issues. Based on my experience, I would not use Acucert again or recommend them.

I am incredibly happy with the work AcuCert did for me. Their initial inspection was thorough and they made several great suggestions to improve the project. The team that arrived for the installation was professional and highly personable. Despite working on the hottest day of the year, they maintained an amazing attitude and spent extra time troubleshooting some external technical difficulties to ensure everything was done right. They installed a variety of wiring, switches, fans, and smart home upgrades, and the craftsmanship looks even better than I expected. They left the house perfectly clean and tidy. I would happily recommend them to anyone and will definitely be contacting them for any future electrical work.

Amazing experience with everyone in the team for the refurbishement work at my clinic. Electricians Jack, another Jack and Ash are all very professional, efficient, polite and friendly. They communicate well in terms of what they have done today and what they will do tomorrow to give me assurance we are on progressing well and on track. They also tidy up the rooms and floors after their job which is super helpful and much appreciated. Matt the manager is very responsive, friendly and attentive to my needs. Overall great experience, I recommend them whole-heartedly and will defintely use again!

Accucert replaced our very old garden lighting. They were extremely efficient, with no hidden costs after the quote. The work was carried out efficiently and the garden was left tidy with all debris removed. We’d highly recommend them.
