No stars. Guy turned up to fix alarm. He removed two wires and the battery in five minutes. He said the alarm couldn’t be fixed as it was too old. He charged £144. As soon as he left I got a guy from crown alarms Washington He refitted the two wires and battery then reset the alarm. I had obviously been ripped off by 24 hour electrical services ltd , do not use .

I am writing review regarding the extremely unprofessional service I received from your 24-hour electrical service team. On 19 Sep 2025 around 10:30 PM, I contacted your helpline to report an electrical fault. At the time of booking, I was not informed of any service charges or pricing structure. I was simply told that an electrician would be dispatched and that he would provide the necessary details upon arrival. When the electrician arrived, he immediately began working on the issue without explaining the costs involved or seeking my consent. After identifying the fault, I specifically asked about the charges, only to be presented with an unexpected bill of £360. This came as a complete surprise, as there had been no prior communication or transparency regarding the pricing. I immediately contacted customer care to question this, but instead of addressing my concerns, I was dismissed. To make matters worse, during the service, the electrician acted negligently by forcibly holding down the tripping circuit breaker. This reckless action allowed the fault current to continue, which resulted in a surge that severely damaged my dishwasher. I personally witnessed sparks coming from the appliance as a direct consequence of this mishandling. Despite raising this issue, customer care refused to take responsibility. After negotiating the electrician left after payment of £245 and did not even provide an official invoice for the charges. This experience has left me highly dissatisfied, both due to the lack of transparency in your pricing and the negligent actions of your engineer, which have caused damage to my household appliance.

The guy was great, the service excellence. Like a lot of people we were worried of the cost because it was a Saturday and it was an emergency but the price was really fair and the whole experience was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Under any circumstances do not contact this company. They are top tier con artists. One of the electricians came to my house after my tv suddenly stopped working. I asked him how much it would cost he said he would let me know. He couldn't find the fault, instead pretended he was doing stuff for 2 hours saying all my sockets were put on wrong and charged £210 for not even fixing anything at all. He then proceeded to say it's an hourly rate (never mentioned at the start). A day later I got another electrician in to fix the tv socket and he found straight away that the kitchen socket tripped which caused the tv not to work. The tv now is up and running no thanks to "24 hours electrical services" absolute time wasters bad at fixing the problem great at taking money for nothing. I called them asking for a refund instead he's giving me threats saying I know where you live. Appalling!!!!

After being let down by another company, this one got someone out in only 35 minutes after midnight. Service was great, the guy was really polite and professional, and after paying he had a look at several other issues I had and gave advice on what would be needed. Couldn't recommend more.
