Colin at Ray of Light installed 9 dimplex quantum storage heaters which involved modifying our electrical supply . We cannot be more happier with both the service and the final job. It was perfect both financially and in terms of quality of work completed. We will be using Ray of Light for all our electrical Work going forwards as have complete trust in Colin.

Having recently downsizes to a smaller property which was electric only and that had been unoccupied for a number of years, we were in need of someone who could complete a full electrical inspection and subsequently carry out all remedial work and the upgrading of the internal heating system ( outdated and inefficient electric storage heating ) We started searching on-line for a competent electrical engineer / contractor and some one with the ability to assess and advise us of our heating needs room by room, and also install the latest and most efficient modern electric storage heaters. Initially we couldn't find this specialist in our area, but when we opened our search up to a wider area, we came accross "RAY OF LIGHT" Electrical Contractors and subsequently invited Colin over and we asked him to undertake a full electrical inspection of our property, he undertook this and kept us advised throughout, in particular drawing our attention to factors that were below current standards and how these factors would need addressing - we went on to asking Colin to replace to consumer units and upgrade to current standards, restore lost earth circuits etc, and replace degraded light units and finally install the "Dimplex Quantum" modern storage heaters as he is an approved installer for the Dimplex Quantum heaters. All in all Colin has been the exact person for our needs, he is very technically mined , skilful and he has very high standard's of work, both from an electrical point of view but also in that he is very meticulous in what he does even down to removing any mess that he has caused. We can only highly recommend him and we will ask him to come back and fit a few other electrical items when we have been able to complete some other alterations. EICR certificate Upon inspection for an EICR certificate Colin highlighted some fire hazards from previous electrical work and other discrepancies that needed attention, after completing work required I am now confident in my tenants safety and me being sure that the property is electrically safe. Colin is efficient, fair, trustworthy, very helpful and his knowledge is vast. I have used Ray of light before and will use again in the future. I would highly recommend Colin.
