Domestic projects in and around Swindon form the backbone of the work described, covering light fitting and ceiling rose replacements, garden power supplies, interior lighting upgrades and fault finding on fused spurs and fuses. A recurring theme is the speed of response, with James attending at short notice and frequently on the same day contact is first made, including one evening visit to trace a fault and test the circuit for safety. Clear quotes feature in several accounts, along with practical suggestions that had not been considered, and the cost is described as reasonable and good value.

Tidiness is a point that comes up often, customers noting that the work is left clean and neat, while his manner is consistently described as polite, friendly and pleasant to have in the home. Communication is praised both beforehand and afterwards, with a follow-up call days later to check all was well. Reviewers also value his expertise on a long-standing problem that had defeated other electricians, and the same thread of reliability and sound advice runs through accounts of the installation and lighting work.
