Terrific service from BESA. I needed a PAT test at short notice and phoned after 5pm. Spoke to George who arranged for someone to come next morning before 11am. Jamie arrived at 10am, was professional and cheerful and tested all my musical items so that I was able to play a gig later the same day at a prestigious venue.Top class service for a reasonable price - thank you!
I contacted BESA Electrical at very short notice for an electrical safety certificate and they were great. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were very polite and got the job done efficiently. Would definitely use them again and would highly recommend.

We booked this company based on the good reviews and in good faith. We needed to have our electrics checked to make sure they were safe as we're planning to foster and this is part of the health and safety inspection. My husband spoke to them to ask for advise as we have a few issues with our circuits in the kitchen and wanted to determine the best course of action. We were advised to have an EICR and at the same time the electrician would check the issues. On the day of his visit the electrician started to look at a light fitting which shorted and as a result he took the light apart. He left saying he needed to buy a new fitting and then didn't return. Leaving the light fitting broken and no idea if he had left the wires in a safe condition. The company have ignored our calls and emails. I appreciate things don't always go to plan and this may have required additional work which we were happy to pay for but to walk away and not even communicate with us is completely unbelievable. I don't normally leave review but this has got to be the worst experience I've had with any service.
I had a terrible experience with George who was supposed to do a job in my flat. He kept changing the time from 12-2 to 2-4 and then called saying they can't make it before 4:30 which was not suitable for me. He then offered to come by 4pm and finish by 4:30. Unfortunately he started the job and shut down the power in the whole flat and removed the main box, then said he's going to get the new one from his van down the building, and he disappeared. I tried to call him more than once, he didn't answer, then switched off his phone. Only to know from another colleague of him after ONE HOUR that he's not coming back as he'd left and handed over the job to his colleague without communicating this to me, which was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I called the manager who was responsive and sent Jamie to fix it. Jamie was brilliant though, and perfectly finished the job by 7pm.
👉George issued a EICR Certificate and also did some remedial work in our flat. It was very professional, good standards and fair priced. The team worked in a timely maner delivering a excelente work.
